Kaththi is one of the most expected movies releasing this diwali and the expectations among the movie audience and especially from Actor Vijay fans is massive. There has been word that trailer will be releasing on various dates, now Kaththi team has officially come out with the announcement .

A Match made in Heaven
After a traditional wedding ceremony attended only by family and close friends, actress Amala Paul and director Vijay hosted a grand reception in the evening, which was attended by a host of celebrities from the industry .
Pretty bride Amala Paul shone bright in a gold-shimmer dress. She looked elegant as she styled heself with simple makeup and jewellery . Her sideswept up-do went well with her look. Vijay looked dapper in a classic black bandhgala.
The evening saw a long list of celebrities from the film of celebrities from the fi industry who had come to wish the newly-weds.
K Balachander, Vairamuthu, Gangai Amaran, Radhika, Rajkiran and Sathyaraj, were present among others to bless the couple. The reception was also witnessed by the young league of actors like Jiiva, Vijay, Karthi, Varalakshmi, Siddarth, Raai Laxmi, Janani Iyer and many others.

Yuvan to sing for Idhu Namma Aalu
Chennai Times : After his rendition of Kadal Rasa in Mariyaan, Yuvan Shankar Raja seems to be the first choice for music directors for soulful songs. Now we learn that the composer is soon to record a passionate love song composed by Kuralarasan for the upcoming film Idhu Namma Aalu, directed by Pandiraj, featuring Simbu and Nayan in the lead.
Confirming the news, Simbu's brother Kural says, “Yes, we have got Yuvan on board for a song. He will be singing a stylish love song for the film. I have composed the song and it has been tailor-made for Yuvan. We will be recording soon.“
Yuvan is currently busy wrapping up the songs of the Suriya-starrer Anjaan.
He has also been shuttling between Chennai and Mumbai for the recording of his Hindi film.

Lingaa to have more than just one villain

It looks like Lingaa, Rajini's next film with director KS Ravikumar, will feature more than just one villain.
While it was widely reported that Jagapathy Babu will be the villain in the film, sources in Hyderabad now say that the film also stars Dev Singh Gill, who played the villain in the Telugu blockbuster Maghadheera.
When Chennai Times contacted Dev Singh Gill, he confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am a part of Lingaa. I come during the period when Rajini sir sports the pre-independence look. KS Ravikumar has given me a very different kind of role. They were looking for a star who could be on par with Rajini sir for this role. The director wanted someone intense and someone who could carry off the period look.“ However, the actor refused to divulge details about his role, only choosing to speak about his admiration for Rajini.
“I have worked with several legends across the country . But working with this legend (Rajini) has changed me. I've learnt from him how important it is for one human to understand another. He is so grounded and simple. I asked him, `Every film of yours has set a record.

Kochadaiiyaan to be screened at British Film Institute, London
Chennai Times : Superstar Rajinikanth's recent release, Kochadaiiyaan, will be screened at the British Film Institute in London by the end of this month. The screening will be attended by the faculty members and students, along with film personalities from there.
A source says, “The 3D version of the film will be screened at the venue, and director Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin and the film's producers will be present to speak about the technology that has been used. The film will also be screened at some of the major film festivals this year.“
Meanwhile, we hear work on the film's sequel is likely to begin soon.
Thala55 shoot in malaysia
Chennai Times : Looks like work on Gautham Menon's film with Ajith is progressing at a brisk pace.
After wrapping up a schedule in the city the entire team is travelling to Malaysia to can a , few important sequences. We hear that along with Ajith, Anushka will also be part of this schedule.
A source in the know reveals, “Gautham and his team will begin shooting in Malaysia from tomorrow, and this schedule is likely to go on for more than 10 days. Ajith and Anushka will be shooting for their combination scenes, and an important action sequence will also be canned.
The unit will be filming in almost all the landmarks in Malaysia, including the international airport there.“

To my guru who is on stage Dasari Narayana Sir, Rama Naidu sir, Ramesh Prasad sir, my friend Mohan Babu, my other friends Subarami Reddy, Murali, Rajamouli & Eros Producer & all other great people who have come here have said you all how difficult it is to make this picture. Actually I didn't know it will take so much time to do this film because I'm just an actor, technically I didn't show interest.
After my health upset, we started Rana a folklore picture like Rajamouli's Bahubali but not to that extent! (Laughs). So after Robo, a science fiction is done, Sivaji, political film, Chandramukhi a ghost film & Baba god film. God film didn't do well but ghost film ran well (huge laughter). So I'm just an actor, not a writer also. You all know the open secret, Kamal Haasan is the biggest actor. But I'm getting technical characters like Robo & Vikramasimha which is God's play. Kamal Haasan is more interested in technology. More than actor, he came to cinema to be a director. Such a technology minded person is not doing these films but you see I'm doing it. So as human beings we think something but god has some other plans for us. Whenever we think something 100% it won't happen ie philosophy. When somethings happen we get happiness, when everything happens we won't have anything to be happy.
Two years they said me about this Kochadaiiyaan film, prequel to Rana. Murali said doctors decided that you shouldn't act for 2 years & how is it possible to do the film. Then I was wondering what to do whether to drop Rana or what. Murali said, during Sultan The Warrior this motion capture technique wasn't there. Then everyone & including the producers were confident but straight film is ok but when they said my daughter will direct where I can't say no & at the same time I was wondering how will my daughter carry such a huge responsibility. Then I asked is it possible, it's a matter of so many years & so many crores of rupees. Then they said me no sir we have planned it properly. So with belief in god I said yes. So after film's release, you all will know how mentally my daughter was stressed & my wife Latha encouraged a lot. After the film's success I wanted to honour my wife but Mohan Babu my friend, brother did it now itself, thank you very much it was very moving.
Actually telling we worked very hard it's like preparing so many dishes at a time but it's no use when the taste is not good. If it's good only there's some value for the handwork. The movie is censored & I saw the film. Not only my film, whenever I see a film, I watch it as an audience. I didn't watch the 3D version, I saw the 2D version. When I saw the film, I was disappointed for 10 mins!!! Now if you take N T Rama Rao who is not there, if you imagine him here it's great but when I'm alive, there's a lot of difference in watching it in straight & watching in animation there will be disappointment. After 15 mins, going inside the story, you will forget the animation. That's why I'm telling beginning 10 mins, you will feel it the same I felt later you enjoy.
A R Rahman is doing a same animation film for Walt Disney which will take 6-7 years to complete. So he said if we do it musically it will be nice with music & dance then the character Kochadaiiyaan is a warrior, dancer & a philosopher. Combing these 3 there 6-7 songs, my wife Latha also sang a song after a long time including me so it's musically emotional a philosophical drama where the subject is very strong. With God's blessings & your encouragement hope the film is a huge hit. Dr Murali hats off to him who has worked so much for the film. He could have earned crores of rupees easily but he came forward to do it. He has so many friends in Hollywood, where I too did a English film Blood Stone with him. Already Rajamouli explained you all how tough it is to make the film. After the film's success, we'll have a grand function. Every time Telugu audience, be it my acting or style have always encouraged me. So this is a different film so I hope your encouragement will be there for this film too. Thank you.

Happy new year in Tamil and Telugu
Baadshah of Bollywood Shahrukh's upcoming movie "Happy New Year" expected to be a Diwali release. SRK is producing the movie under his Red Chillies banner and movie also features stars like Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.
Happy New Year will be released in Tamil and Telugu too, along with Hindi version and Yash Raj Films will be distributing the movie . Audiences in Tamil Nadu can enjoy the movie in their language, as same as the Tamil dubbed version of Chennai Express.
